About Us

Superior Signs & Engraving, Inc. is a family owned business in
Wichita, KS since 1991.
We actually started many years before that as a part of Superior Rubber Stamp. On April 1, 1991 David Siles, a 19 year employee,
purchased the engraving part of the business from Kenny Lowrance, and thus Superior Engraving was born.

Several years later after adding cut vinyl, laser engravers and other sign making equipment the name was changed to Superior Signs & Engraving, Inc.
to reflect those changes from just an engraving company.

In 2003 David’s son Adam, after graduating from Baylor University, came to work for the company. Starting out learning how to engrave
signs and cutting vinyl to making banners. A few short years later under Adam’s guidance we started adding large format printing  and
cutting equipment which he runs to this day.

In 2006 Amy came to work for the company as office manager to oversee everything and take care of the bookkeeping. 

In 2020 we added Direct to Garment (DTG), to our arsenal to kind of make us a one stop shop for personalization.  After outgrowing the
space we had in our building we purchased another building a few blocks away and Creative Styles was born as a division of Superior 
Signs & Engraving. Sonja moved to the new building to run the equipment and oversee the operation . In 2023 we added embroidery
to the mix with a single head machine. With increased demand for embroidery we added a four head machine this year as well as Direct to Film (DTF).
